I have been through more than five years of therapy and medication and emerged a stronger happier person. I have personally struggled with OCD, hoarding, depression, addiction (to drugs, shopping and food), Binge eating disorder, bulimia, ADD and sexual assault. I have experience in the kink community and understand the difficulties involved in figuring out sexual preferences and expressing those to a partner. I am married to a man on the autism spectrum who has PTSD, so I understand the rewards and challenges of loving and living with someone who experiences the world differently than you. I'm currently in graduate school getting my Master's degree in history, and I know that academic stress can be crippling.
