My name is Tom. In my life i experienced domestic violence, war, bullying, anxiety, depression, suicidalness, dark thoughts, low self worth, grief and much more. Human life is a rollercoaster. Take a seat next to me, fasten your seatbelt and hopefully i can show you that the ride isn't so bad.

 

I love water in every form since it calms me. I live by the sea and a river (i live by the rivaaaaah!! Reference missed? Oh shooks). I love reading, watching movies, i am a big audiophile. You can always see me with big headphones. Music is good for the soul. I love gaming and i used to write. Hopefully i will get back to it one day. I adore wine. I love cooking and i make mean pasta. Thou have been warned :)

When i first heard from you, you were so bright, easy going and made me feel better! I instantly fell for your optimism, good nature and your wonderful heart! I felt good energy oozing from my laptop :) You are struggling with your own demons and still you are trying to help people. You are inspiring to me, Melanie, and a friend! Thank you for caring for me when no one else did! I felt i had to do this. Everyone, please let Melanie know how good of a person she is, because she needs it now! Listener is the first listener on the site I experienced as such. With a degree in psychology I might be a little biased, but it would seem as though most of the listeners I dealt with needed a lot more training before being able to add true value to a person in distress. VastSeaofThought was compassionate, engaging, and prompted me to talk about my issues in a way that was open, inviting, and safe. Definitely a listener worth his salt!
