...See more I have been in my current relationship with my domestic partner for 7 years. I proposed 6 years ago and she said yes. We are still engaged and are about to start the baby process. She has yet to tell her parents that shes out, that were engaged, and trying for children. I feel as if Ive been giving her ultimatums for 6 years now to get married. We still talk with her parents and see them on holidays. I have seen her take off her engagement ring when were arounf them and it hurts my heart. Ive felt wounded for 6 years and its really taken a toll on my perception of our relationship during that time. I literally feel like Im begging her to get married and to tell her parents. Ive given her a month to talk to her parents. Shes an only child and is afraid they will turn their backs on her. I love her but Im past impatient and feel like an a$$ for pushing her. She says she wants to marry me but it feels the total opposite and it makes me feel like a fool and worthless. I need help figuring out what to do.
