...See more I am in a lovely relationship but because of trauma from my last one mixed with trauma from high school I find myself absurdly anxious about just living. I get these feeing like at any moment she could leave me for something I didnt know I did, or worse, that someone from my past who had hurt me comes back to do more damage (which was attempted less than two months ago). Ive been prescribed Lexapro but sometimes these anxieties really get to my head and I have no coping mechanisms with dealing with such intrusive thoughts. I havent been on this app for a while but I woke up this morning to DMs from someone I hadnt talked to in ages (who I used to have interest in but no longer do) saying its been a while and asking me whats up lately. This gave me sooo much anxiety because the first thing I thought of was that I dont want to talk to other girls, and also that I dont want my lovely lady to think Id do something like that to her so I quickly responded im with a loving partner now and doing uni and stuff like that. I didnt ask about themselves I frankly dont really want them to respond, it makes me so anxious that something negative might come of it but I know from outside its kind of irrational. I dont know, am I alone in feeling this way?
