...See more Recently went to a funeral and I forgot they give speeches at the end. I was the second reading so wanted to speak about the decease. I said before I read doesn't anyone mind if I say a few words, no one said a word. Then halfway through my speech the priest cuts me off and says they'll be time to speak at the end. To say I was embarrassed/ pissed is and understatement. I have been ruminating on this forever now and it's still bothering me. Was I at fault ?

...See more So I've had anxiety last 15 years give or take. I'm looking for some help/advice. I'm very social and actually don't mind public speaking or anything like that. My anxiety comes from being at event and assuming I'll get anxiety. Once that little thought comes I have to grab a drink yo calm down. The problem is the next day obviously the anxiety is worse. This has been the pattern forever, go to party drink so I feel relaxed, wake up feeling worse. Again I'm very social so not sure what issue is. I also get worried when people will say "oh you're not drinking" I don't want them thinking I'm alcolhic for not drinking- which I'm not but anyways that's where I am right now. I
