What you can do for others that do not involve giving them money if you don't have any:

...See more It is not only money that you can give, but a helping hand and being someone's support like: * washing the dishes for them * sweeping the floor for them. * asking how they are doing to see if they are alright and making them feel that they exist. * being a listening ear for them and a trustworthy shoulder to cry on. * offer advice if they need it. (some do not like unsolicited advice however so maybe ask before giving any!) * donating items to them that are used and/or unwanted instead of throwing it in the bin (this includes clothes, trinkets, toys, school or office supplies and other supplies, etc.) but see if they are willing to take those items off of your hands, * hand sewing or sewing their clothes using a machine for them * leading the blind * accompany them in places and occasions they are anxious/nervous/uncomfortable of being in like large crowds of people or the subway. * thanking them and making them feel appreciated (ex. "Thank you for what you have done for these past years, (insert name or family member's name here)" or "I am late, sorry. Thank you for waiting." * fixing their stuff for them * being there for them when they need you the most. * validating their feelings when it is fit to do so like "You're right she should not have done that. It is expected you would be sad because of what happened.

What are you grateful to God for?

...See more It is thanks to God I have a loving mother. Even if she isn't perfect currently, her presence is enough to help me. She cared for me emotionally and does the heavy lifting when it comes to household responsibilities like washing clothes by hand, drying them, cooking, providing, etc. The Father God is not slack in His promise that I will never be forsaken, Hebrews 13:5 | King James Version "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." and I'm thankful He exists and that His Son also exists and I'm thankful the Holy Spirit is friendly and when I mess up badly tey don't embarrass me but give me space to realize my weongdoing and give me chance to repent. God, is kind to me. They work together to make sure I attain my salvation with the Father's forgiveness, mercy, goodwill, and gifts (and more)... with the Lord Christ's commandments, teachings, protection from negative emotions (and more)... with The Holy Spirit's consistent reminders of Christ's teachings and law and more... What do you want to thank God for? How do you show your love for Him?
