Rape and the Confusion that can follow it.

...See more Good day everyone 🥰. Sometimes, after rape or sexual assault, a person doesn't immediately know what to call what happened to them. You might be in shock. You might keep replaying it in your head and wondering, Was that really rape? You might know something was deeply wrong but not be ready to accept what happened. And sometimes, the realization doesn't come until a lot later. Then there's another question: Who do you tell? Where do you report it? Who will believe you? Who can you talk to without being judged, blamed or questioned about what you did, wore, said or didn't say? Not knowing what to do next doesn't make what happened to you any less real. If you've experienced rape or sexual assault, whether recently or a long time ago, you deserve support. There are organisations and resources that can help with medical care, emotional support, understanding your options and, if you choose, reporting what happened. And within this community, I want you to know that I stand with survivors. I'm here to listen and not to judge you, interrogate you or tell you how you should feel. If there's a story or experience you would like to share, you're welcome to share as much or as little as you're comfortable with under this thread. You don't owe anyone every detail of what happened to you. You deserve to be heard. You deserve to be taken seriously. And you deserve support.

Destiny And Relationships
Religion & Spirituality / by Vokzy

...See more I was having a conversation about destiny and relationships, and it got me thinking: Do destiny and relationships come hand in hand? First, what exactly is destiny? I don't think of destiny as one straight, predetermined road where every single thing that happens to you HAD to happen exactly that way. I think of it more like a destination with different possible paths leading towards it. Imagine standing in front of seven doors. Maybe all seven doors are available to you. You have the freedom to choose which one you open, and depending on the door you choose, you'll meet different people, have different experiences and make different decisions. That's where relationships come in. I believe some relationships can be "meant to be" without necessarily being "meant to last." Someone entering your life may be part of your journey, but that doesn't automatically mean they are the only person who could have played that role in your life. And that's the part I find interesting. We often say, "I had to meet this person because they taught me this lesson." But what if you hadn't met them? Would you never have learned that lesson? I don't think so. Maybe you would have learned it through another relationship. Maybe through a friendship. Maybe through family. Maybe through an experience completely unrelated to romance. The lesson may be important to your journey without the person who taught it being your only possible teacher. So, to me, destiny and relationships exist in sync, but not necessarily in a rigid way. There can be possibilities. There can be different doors. There can be different people behind those doors. And our choices still matter. Maybe destiny isn't always "You were supposed to choose Door 4." Maybe it's: Whichever door you choose, there is something on the other side that becomes part of who you are. And perhaps that's why two things can be true at once: Some people were meant to cross our paths. And we still had a choice in whether we walked with them. Have a lovely day 😘 @isitorisitnott

...See more I know school life can be demanding and very exhausting. Whether trying to do assignments, making friends or making life changing decisions. Don't always let it get to you and if it does try to get up remember you're strong 💪.
