I remember when I first joined 7 Cups of Tea. I felt my life was riddled with strife. I wanted to be a listener, initially, because the idea of "helping others can help myself" motivated me. Well...I don't know how well that worked out because I actually took time away so that I could "help myself so I can help others". What I have discovered in my time away from volunteering so whole heartedly here in pursuit of self healing, however, was life changing. I hope I can share that with you. I hope what inspires me now will shine through and inspire you and make the world seem bright and that you know this world really needs you to shine through and inspire others.
"You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
You are the light of the world!" A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
