Can a psychiatrist help me?

...See more I don't think I have depression and If I do then it's not severe. I've been thinking about seeing a psychiatrist for a while now but I couldn't afford it, but now I do. Im starting to second guess myself, maybe a psychiatrist is a bit too much. Can a psychiatrist help me with my problems or should I look for something else? I'm not worried about expenses anymore so if a psychiatrist is the best option then I'll commit to that. One way or the other I need someone to help me, because I can't seem to help myself.
