Bio
Hi
I'm William, a South African with many years of life and work experience across different industries and cultures. My career has included agricultural research, truck driving in South Africa and the United States, and offshore service work in Africa and the Middle East. After my retirement I am a subsistence farmer on a small plot against a large river, and gardening becomes a way of life. These experiences have taught me that everyone carries challenges that aren't always visible.
I believe one of the greatest gifts we can offer another person is our full attention. My role is to provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly at your own pace. Whether you're feeling lonely, overwhelmed, stressed, or simply need someone to listen, I'm here to support you with empathy and understanding.
I won't pretend to have all the answers, and I'm not here to tell you what to do. Instead, I'll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions when appropriate, and help you feel heard and understood.
Every conversation is treated with kindness, patience, and respect. Sometimes being truly listened to can make all the difference.
I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you for a little while.
