...See more I have pretty much always picked excessivley at my skin. I normally wear clothing that covers my body and just cover up my face with makeup the best I can. Now I have my wedding coming up in January. I am so embarrased by my skin that I can't bring myself to go in to the store to get my alterations finished. My dress has an open back, which I am now terrified of as I have torn my back to shreads. The chest is lower cut than the tshirts I normally wear to cover the scars on my chest. I didn't want to have a dress like this inititally for the reason that I may pick at my skin and it will not look pretty. However, when I went in to pick out the dress, my skin was at the best it has ever been and I felt confident I could do better. Fast foward to now and my skin is an absolute wreck. I had no idea that BFRB was a thing until last night, but I strongly believe that I may be affected by this. I am not sure if anyone has any tips or tricks on how to help. I am this close to duct taping my hands so I can't pick (it usually starts when I am like zoned out and I don't realize what I've done until it's waaaaay too late). I don't know what else to do.
