In the 90s, I learned Focusing, a self help method to tackle personal problems by paying attention to the body's response to them. Hence I can support you by drawing on what you know in your guts about your problem but cannot yet put into words.
My listening is also informed by my experience with the person-centered approach: You too will be better helped by acceptance, congruence and empathic understanding in finding your own unique solution to your personal problem than by whatever advice anyone could give you.
