Ex and son
Relationship Stress / by Xenothias

...See more Well, let me start by saying there has been alot of toxic stuff and abuse in my relationship with my ex. At first, i would believe him when he constantly called me crazy, said i was controlling when setting boundaries, called me abusive when i had snapped and hit him back or insulted him back. I later learned about reactive abuse and would constantly mske excuses for him. I gave him chances and kept getting back with him when he promised he was changing and shit was not like it was in the past. The problem is, it still is and i think even worse. We broke up last year and i got fed up with him always having an excuse not to come see his son and when i said we could just schedule visitation through the court he then hit me with "I am just trying to be a part of my childs life." Yet, he threw a fit at the possibility of paying child support so, i canceled my food stamps. I have been taking care of our child and live in an entirely different town and now he is asking for 500 from me to pay his rent after he recently flirted with a few women in front of me and acted like he had no association with me or his son. Now, he says... "well i guess i will just lose my place and job then. I came to you for help." And other such lines. Am i wrong to be infuriated and not want to fork over 500 for his rent when he has a job and i have only disability at this time? I just recieved my stimulus check and that is when he asked. I did get a bit petty and told him to go ask one of those women he flirted with for some cash but of course, like i said, recieving all kinds of guilt. I pay my own rent, my electric, my net, etc and am starting school here soon for cyber security. It has been a little while since i have been in therapy and am working on getting back in since moving to this new town, so for now i am posting here. I apologise if my post is a bit all over the place.
