...See more Hello everyone, I just broke off my engagement with my ex-fiancé. I realized that as the years went by, I was losing more and more of my happy-go-lucky personality, perhaps due to me constantly needing to adjust how I carry myself, my speech, and disregard my interest and hobbies for his comfort. I look back at who I was. I was so funny, everyone wanted to get to know me. I had such a strong presence about me. I was so ambitious and excited about absolutely everything. Now, I just seem disinterested. I don't even enjoy my favorite music like I used to anymore. I don't joke around, I don't get excited, and I'm no longer ambitious. I'm willing to try anything to feel better. As of right now, I'm forcing myself to go out and meet friends, which typically entails drinking, doing drugs, and still struggling to find friends. What have you done when you felt like you lost yourself?
