I am applying to become a listener because I hope to build meaningful experience in mental health support before pursuing graduate training in social work or mental health counselling. My previous experiences in community volunteering, museum education, and charity work have helped me develop patience, empathy, and sensitivity toward people from different cultural and social backgrounds.
