...See more 3 years ago I got into a relationship with my girlfriend and 2 years ago we lived together in an apartment last year I worked at a fast food place and things were going well between me and my girlfriend so we had took a break like a small one cuz we were very overwhelmed while I was working at this fast food place I met a person a very nice kind loving friend that later on during that time I started developing feelings for at the time I was confused because this is my first relationship ever I've never been in any other relationship and I was struggling at the time and so I had no one else to talk to but between my partner and the coworker so I have told the coworker that I have been thinking about them and that I have feelings for them this is what i said This is my final message. You’ve stayed on my mind more than I ever expected. The truth is, I think about you a lot—more than the person I’m currently with. I’ve never been in a situation like this before, and it’s confusing, but it’s real. I don’t know what this means for anything, and I’m still figuring things out. But I needed you to know where my heart has been. You don’t have to respond—I just needed to be honest so I could be free. This was her response: I like you alot. I think about you all the time and if I was single and you were as well I would love to see where things go. But I do want to be your friend regardless. I didn’t text because didn’t want anyone to see this. I really want to hang out and be friends. Maybe we can make that happen, And that's where we had originally cut things off fast forward into the next year I guess or at the tourists of the next year I left Whataburger because my girlfriend had caught breast cancer and she had kept taking off work and it's gone to a point where we had to leave our apartment while we are packing to leave this apartment my girlfriend told me that she felt uncomfortable with the fact that me and this coworker were friends I told her I am so sorry I didn't know you felt insecure about it and that I would block her so I did.... Next year later I go to school and around the time of spring break I've been getting voice messages and phone calls from different numbers unexpectedly just flashing my phone and I didn't know who it was from then I heard something from someone saying that somebody came to my apartment my old apartment I meant and I didn't know who it was later on one morning March 24th I wake up to a message then went like this Wife: You never should have messaged other than work from the first place She is married for 1 You must take great pleasure in flirting with married people And you better be glad I can’t get to you cuz it wouldn’t be pretty This was my response: haven’t been in contact for a while and I’m focusing on my own life now. I’m not interested in continuing any communication. Please don’t message me again. I want to be really clear about something, because it matters to me how you see me. I am not a homewrecker, and that’s not something I condone or would ever try to be. What happened with Ty never went beyond us admitting we had feelings for each other, and that was last year. There was no physical relationship, no sexual conversations, nothing like that. I understand how the situation might look from the outside, and I take responsibility for that, but I didn’t continue anything once I realized it could affect my relationship. I stepped back, I’ve kept my responses minimal, and I’ve blocked the number because I don’t want any contact or confusion going forward. I respect you and our relationship, and I want you to feel secure in that. Im in a happy realationship. I would never intentionally put myself in a situation that disrespects you. I care about doing the right thing, and I hope you can see that through my actions. My girlfriend saw this message and she was very overwhelmed and it was during a very pivotal time in our life because she was get just getting her breast surgery done cuz she has cuz she had breast cancer and when she had found the message she told me to do a couple of things I didn't do it right and she was like you know what I think you should just leave at this point and then we took a small break from our relationship fast forward to when I call I hear her family yelling on the phone and I find out that I think she told her family the situation Later on We get back together I show her my phone And I show her the text messages to prove to her that me and this co-worker did not do anything So we got back together And then right after that She asked for some money Because she was trying to Pay for her mom's car And She wanted some coffee so I gave her like 50 And then Her mom kept asking her while she was in the car Where did you get this from Or why do you have expensive coffee or something like that and then My girlfriend said that I was the one who gave her the money And then her mom was like you're still talking to her And she was just like yeah And then she was like Why are you spending So much money on coffee from A person Or something like a person who like betrayed you Or you know they're toxic or whatever It was to the point where my girlfriend Defended me during that situation and it almost got physical I'm sad about the situation not because I had to block her mom And I really wanted to be there during her surgery and my siblings like They get the chance to meet their partner's families and I really wanted that but it got taken away over a message.
