Relationship Stress / by aIItooweII1

...See more My bf and I are LDR and been dating for almost a year now. He came home late last night, he wasn’t able to update me for about 2 hrs (assuming he was driving or busy w his guys friend which is fine to me). On my end, I assumed he fell asleep because it also took me almost 2 hrs to reply to his message bc I had family over in the house. Later that night, my guy friend and I thought it would be fun to play a game after so long. It was a cabin crew simulator game. Little side note: We have barely spoken to each other for months and recently just started to, also have not played since last year, like most of my friends. I am an introvert and have a small group of friends. My bf and I had a conversation awhile ago that led to me feeling like I had to isolate myself from my friends, especially guy friends, to respect my bf. It led to a point where I started to slowly push all my friendships away and even lost my girl bsf of 7yrs in the process and now I want to mend them because it felt wrong.  My bf then calls me 2 minutes later stating he is home. (Prior to this I sent him a screenshot of the game so he is aware) He asked who I was playing with, and I told him who and what game. (He knows my guy friend, they have spoken many times before, he is one of the reasons my BF and I met and stuff) So I invited my bf and asked if he wanted to come and play as well.  He declines and the energy started to shift. I then try again and says its a chill game and he might enjoy it. He proceeds to say “blah blah shutup”, and then naturally yes it started to *** me off and I said idk what the issue is (hoping he would express why hes feeling this way) but he js proceeds to say other things that kind of hurt. Now, he might have been tired from his night, all heated and whatnot which I would understand. But was there all ever a reason to start speaking to me in a way that seemed so disrespectful. He could have just kindly declined and we would have a normal night, speaking throughout, or I would have even offered to screen share so he can watch and rest up.  You may ask why I didnt just stop playing, the reason is I invited my friend to come play because I wanted to patch things up, it would have seemed hurtful? (idk if that is the proper word) if I suddenly say I cant play anymore and to lie. I updated my bf on what I was doing, who I was with and even invited him to avoid any conflict.  Please be brutally honest with me in the comments. Did I do something wrong? Should I have came about it a different way? Was he in the wrong or shouldve handled it a diff way? I need advice and thoughts.
