Anxiety + illness..

...See more Long story cut massively short. Was "normal" until I hit 18. Needed emergency surgery. It went wrong and left me with a complication only 1% of the world have and there's no cure. It just causes more issues. In the 4 years it took to diagnose this I got MASSIVE anxiety. I've been to therapy ect and it's helped, I can now go outside, which I never used to. But now I feel stuck. Everyone expects me to be "normal" now I'm medicated. The anxiety has stuck. And the worst part is stress makes the physical illness worse. I would like to skip forward to where I'm a "normal" person again but I can't. And the panics make it so hard to do anything. Any advice or any other people with similair problems? just be good to know it's not just me.

...See more I'm 22. I had a botched operation at 18 that left me with an incurable disease. I panic when people come to the door and I don't go outside, no, not even a little. And I haven't for years. Finally decided I want a life again so looking for any help/info/tips&tricks that help deal with anxiety and panic attacks. Also, anyone, that deals with chrons, that'd be useful. Dr thinks I also have chrons so.
