...See more With social media, hookup culture, and the fear of "love bombing", I feel like people are much more hesitant to show their feelings, whether in a romantic or platonic sense. Of course, do not be unnecessarily obsessive and respect boundaries, but I hope to see more people breaking down their ego or whatever holds them back from sharing their emotions. I've realized I struggle a lot with verbal affection, especially in my romantic relationships. To be better about that I wrote a letter this year, not for any purposes of getting together with someone, make someone feel bad/guilty, just to be nice and let someone know how much I care. It's very scary, but refreshing to be vulnerable.
