Uhh, I guess I like to write. I listen to music a lot. My favorite TV show is Stranger Things, favorite movie is Beautiful Boy, favorite book is probably A Little Life, and my favorite game is GTA V. I have depression and anxiety and I'd like to learn how to manage it. I also would like to explore if I have ADHD or autism, and I want to work towards managing my ED.

...See more Hi, I'm Miles and I'm new to 7 Cups so I don't know how this stuff works. I'm 15 years old and I just started going to high school, and not a traditional high school. I'm going to early college and the workload is way bigger than anything I've ever had but I'm not stressed. At least, I don't feel stressed while all of my friends and peers complain about the work and say they have 3hrs+ of homework. I get everything done in an hour, and I don't feel overwhelmed by it all. Truth is, ever since quarantine, school after November is really hard to deal with. All I feel like doing every day is just laying in bed and it causes my family a lot of stress though they refuse to get me help because we just simply can't afford therapy services.  I understand what I'm doing, skipping school and allowing my straight A's to drop, is not healthy. I just can't help it. Ever since quarantine, I've had such issues with going to school. In seventh grade after quarantine was somewhat over for schools, I stopped going less than halfway through the year and my school had to connect me to a therapist that could say that I was allowed to be home bound for the rest of the year. My family couldn't afford it but they still did it for me. Therapy didn't help. I went for a year or so and nothing changed. In eighth grade, I thought things were better, but towards the end of the year I lost motivation and got about 30 absences. This year, I've got about 14 already that I've gotten excused. It's not that I hate school, or that I'm being bullied, or that the environment of my school is bad. Everything in my life is great. I just want to stay in bed. I can't wait for my high school years to be over, truthfully. I want to go to college and I want everyday to start looking and feeling different. Now, I'm just stuck in a loop. Any tips to make this loop more bearable? I can't stand it when things are the same for too long. I need change, but nothing changes anymore.
