Hi, I'm Alexis (ze/zir). I'm still a teen, but I've experienced a lot in my short time, and I've gotten through it all. So far, I've survived 100% of my bad days, and I'm confident you can too.
Through my experiences with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and even self-harm, I've learned to have more functional relationships in my life, and value myself instead of just valuing everyone else. Aside from the things I've mentioned, I've also struggled with body image, adjustment disorder, ADHD, OCD, LGBTQ+ questioning, trauma, breakups, and sexual abuse.
I've also dealt with close family or friends having cancer, PTSD, TBI's, and divorce.
I'm uncomfortable taking conversations about the following topics: sex, sexual abuse, and self-harm. *The reason I don't take these topics is to protect my mental health as I work through my own trauma. It's possible that as I work through these things, I'll be more comfortable with them in the future.
I just became an intern so I'll be busy a lot of the time with my training and working on graduation, so if my profile is set on orange, I'm busy but may take some chats. If I'm green I'm online and ready to listen, and if I'm red I may or may not be online but I'm not responding to messages.
