Detachment feeling from anxiety

...See more Hello everyone I hope you're all doing well. I am on here because I have been struggling with anxiety for a couple months now. I have a lot going on in my life right now. I went through a bad breakup with whom I was dating for 4 years and in my mind thought I would marry her. My best friend was deployed to guam reciently, and I just found out my young dog is dying. I've been dealing with all of this but didn't start getting anxiety until I had a panic attack one day. The panic attack made me feel like I was having a heart attack (at the time I didn't know it was a panic attack and I really thought I was having a heart attack). In that moment I was filled with so much fear thinking that I could die at any moment and I didn't know where I'd go or what would happen after death. I think because of that something inside of me broke. Since that day I've had high anxiety that commonly lead to panic attacks. But the worst feeling is the detachmet the feeling that I am questioning my reality. That's what really terrifies me. Right now I feel completely numb, an hour ago I was even questioning if I was in a dream. I feel like I'm loosing it. I've tried meditation and sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't. I am starting a new job tomorrow that could really be a big break for me and I'm just terrified that these feelings will kick in and I won't perform to the best of my ability. Thank you for looking over my long winded post!
