Emptiness, Numbness and Silence in Therapy

...See more I have been in therapy for about a year for trauma. I am now experiencing great problems with emptiness, numbness and silence. I hate to keep paying for therapy when all I can do is be silent. I am not sure why I have been feeling this waybut it hasn't changed for quite a while. Is this common? Has anyone experienced this and how did you deal with it? Any suggestions are welcome. My therapist is understanding but it isn't changing anything for me.
