...See more Trigger warning: self-harm reference from a movie I watched my favorite movie today and forgot how relatable this quote is to me. Does anyone else relate? “I feel so alone, like I’m the only person in the world who feels this way, and it doesn’t even matter. It’s not important, maybe because I’m not important. I’m screaming out, doing everything I can to be heard, yet even silence is louder than my screams. What can I do to be heard, other than tear down this world, break apart my life, die? I just want somebody to listen and not be angry that I’m not content because I’m not. I’m not happy. I feel like I’m stuck in a world where no one wants me, a world where I am so completely different that I can never fit in or be understood. I can scream as loud as I want to but the screams will always fade because no one really knows how to listen“

...See more I often experience an overwhelming urge to cry, but the tears won't come, and I can't shake this feeling. I'm exhausted, lonely, and confused, and I don't know how to help myself. My nightmares and terrors make it difficult to function throughout the day. I'm afraid to sleep, yet I'm so tired.
