I'm chestnut, I'm 17 and I had been diagnosed with Rickets which is a vitamin deficiency illness where the bones become soft and weak and causes bone deformities, so I got knock knees because of it. I was very small since I wasn't able to walk properly, I wasn't able to run or jump nd it was difficult for me to do any physical activities, my parents thought it was a normal calcium deficiency which would be covered by taking the calcium supplements. After suffering from severe pain and when my legs were visible that they've got deformed they took me to the orthopedic as well as endocrinologist. Now, after five years of medications, my condition is getting worsed. It feels like my whole body is in a trap where I can break my bones easily.I have to go through severe pain and I'm unable to walk properly because of my knock knees nd I'm afraid to go for surgery. I have developed anxiety, depression because of my health issues and my childhood traumatic experiences,sexual abuse etc. I always have this fear of breaking my bones due to which I left Karate which I used to practice since I was a kid nd I was in love with it as it was the only thing which used to make me happy. I'm tired of people treating me as different and I feel bad for others too who are treated as different.
