...See more I started recovery six years ago. Struggling with it the whole time. In October, I moved in with roommates. Switched doctors. Changed my level of activity. Roomate is very overweight, but keeps commenting on how I look. She tells my fiancé that I need to eat more. Cheers when we come home with McDonalds I don't eat most of. But also gives judgmental stares when I make myself food. Looks at me like I need to stop eating. Tells me I need to go out and do more, but also have to stay home and clean. But also have to sit and rest because of my chronic pain. She keeps the scale in the kitchen. Has my fiancé and I buy her gluten free foods that we can't eat, but she never does. My new doctor, on my first visit, mentioned that I am overweight. Put me on an antidepressant for nerve pain that made me gain weight. I'm getting married next September, and I barely fit in the dress I picked. I notice every time I sit down, and my thighs spread out. When my stomach sticks out so far I rest my hands on it. I have cut down to one meal a day, if I eat. And that meal is planned carefully. And logged. I noticed yesterday that I was getting back into old habits.
