Treating/covering up self harm scars

...See more Hi, I’m really new to this app so bare with me.. I’m hoping to get some useful advice on how to take care of my scars and how to cover them.. I’m a 17 year old who’s been struggling with stress induced severe depression and anxiety since probably around 2019.. It’s really been a rough journey for me and i have to admit it got so bad at some points in my life that i self injured on my forearms and hips. I am now getting professional help from a psychologist since May this year, after i finally admitted to my parents i was really struggling and couldn’t go on anymore. I’m still experiencing depression ‘episodes’ and sometimes hurt myself but i think i’m atleast managing those better now. I just want to get rid of my more prominent ones which also carry many bad memories and remember me of the dark place i was in at that time. A few deeper scars on my body developed into raised keloid scars and are so much harder to cover up. I’d say they’re less than a year old and I’ve tried a cream that my doctor prescribed for an unrelated old injury on my leg i had when i had to have surgery. I believe it’s called Contrakel or something similar (I’m in the EU). I’ve heard about silicone bandages and how they help with keloid scars but i don’t know if i should go to a doctor and if i can even get those prescribed.. I wouldn’t want to go to a doctor and have to tell them all about my depression since i would never want my self harm to go on my medical record, and my parents took the extreme measures of finding a personal psychologist who doesn’t work for any health facility so it wouldn’t go on record. I’m also a bit concerned if the silicone bandages are expensive, since i am a student and am not really financially stable on my own. My parents do not know about the self harm and the last thing i want is them finding out through my doctor… I really hope i can get some answers or suggestions, perhaps some personal experience and some help regarding the topic.. I’m recovering from self harm with my psychologist now, so i just want to get rid of the scars that just make everyone stare and ask questions…
