...See more My partner is grieving her mother than past two years ago and she's pushed me away and shut off on me. Completely numb. She did this last year and i stayed as her friend and we got back together in feb. But it's an emotional roller coaster and idk if she's doing it again. Idk how much I can mentally take. I know she loves me and wants to be with me but once thanksgiving hits it goes down hill and wants nothing to do with anything or anyone. When her family is around it’s all fake smiles but with me I get the real her the hurt and depressed her. She shuts me off and we hardly text and I give her space but now she’s ended things with me again. She's completely numb and says she rather hurt alone than to hurt me. I don’t know if I should stay and wait it out and give her space or just walk away. I’m hurting so bad. We’ve been together for almost three years and have a very happy mature relationship until the grieving hits hard then I’m no one.
