...See more I'm 28 years old, and it's now more than two years since I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety, and I'm making this thread because the Path told me to. With hindsight, I've always had depressive traits, but it's no suprise I fell when I did (father dying of cancer, massive family drama, job crisis, all together) and both health service support (CBT, pills) and friends have been good. What's been impossible has been building myself back up to being a useful person again. I'm unemployed, in no small part because I feel useless and unemployable, missing basic structure in my days and on good days I'm able to keep from spiralling into negative thought cycles. There you go. That's me.
