...See more Love is supposed to be kind and selfless not just from us but from our partners as well. If the relationship doesn't make you feel safe and it keeps exhausting you and making you feel all sorts of negative feelings, then it's not love. If it's criticizing every aspect of you, then it's not love. Love is supposed to accept you as a whole and not try to belittle you for the way you are. Love feels like a warm cozy blanket. If it's anything less than love, then why even call it Love? In the name of love or in the hopes that we'd be loved the same way we love, most often empaths lose themselves. Please respect and love yourself enough and do not waste your time and energy on someone who's undeserving. Know that they thrive on your love and not the other way around. Love is supposed to make you feel all the good feelings.
