...See more Hello, I honestly feel very overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted, and I don’t really have anyone I feel safe talking to about everything going on. My situation at home and within my extended family has become extremely stressful and unstable. A lot of the ongoing conflict is coming from my husband’s child’s mother and her side of the family, including rumors and misinformation being spread about me and my household. It has escalated to the point where I feel targeted, isolated, and constantly on edge. She has reached out to my husbands family with these lies, and having his family exclude me and just straight up being mean to me. On top of that, my marriage has been very difficult. My husband has been unfaithful on multiple occasions and dishonest in ways that have deeply damaged my trust. He also does not consistently stand up for me when it comes to his family, which has left me feeling unsupported and alone in situations that continue to escalate. At home, I am also dealing with a lot of responsibility and limited support. I have been injured since winter with a broken ankle, and I am unable to afford the surgery I need, which makes daily functioning and housework very difficult. Despite that, I am still trying to manage everything as best as I can. I also care for a 7-year-old child who is deaf, partially blind, and autistic, which requires a lot of time, attention, and energy. I am doing my best to meet their needs while also trying to hold everything else together. With this being said it has been hard to find a stable job willing to work with my son’s therapies, appts and such. I am a CFSS worker for him but that only pays so much. There has also been a recent mental health crisis involving my husband’s son, including a psychiatric hospitalization, which added even more stress and emotional strain to an already very heavy situation. I feel like I am carrying far too much with very little support. I am exhausted, anxious, and emotionally drained. I want a divorce because I don’t feel safe or supported in the relationship anymore, but I feel scared because my husband has threatened to take my child away from me if we separate. I’m reaching out because I really need someone to listen and help me process everything I’m going through. I feel like I’m barely holding things together, and I just need support.
