I don't know what I should think
Relationship Stress / by braveBlueberry9829

...See more The thing is, I found out today that my boyfriend doesn't feel empathy for me, and that worries me. I think it's something I should consider before ending the relationship, because it could turn into a toxic one. But I'm also worried because he has his own history. He experienced domestic violence this year, and he's been different ever since. He goes to therapy, but he says he doesn't talk about everything because there are other things he wants to focus on. And today he told me he can't feel empathy for anyone, and that it frustrates him. This conversation came up when I pointed out that I felt a change in how he supported me during difficult times and that I wished he were like he was last year. I feel like that was still cruel, and we agreed to talk next Thursday, and that in the meantime, I'd block him everywhere. I don't have anyone to tell this to because my relationships don't feel very close. I feel like people only reach out to me when they need something, so I feel more alone
