...See more I'm current getting my MA in education and I have to do classroom observations. I'm not nervous about doing the observations because I love being in the classroom and seeing how people teach and how students learn. I am, however, nervous about emailing the teacher about setting up my observations. We spoke for a while at the beginning of the semester. I got a bit overwhelmed with work and class and haven't responded in 2 months. Now the semester is almost over and I need these observation hours because it is part of my grade and a requirement for my degree. I'm really nervous about emailing her after being out of communication for that long. I don't want to inconvenience her, especially when it was my fault for avoiding my responsibilites and procrastinating. It's gotten to the point where I don't even use that specific email address anymore because it makes me so anxious. I am constantly drafting emails in my head but can't decide how I should go about asking her to come observe her classroom. Should I apologize for my lack of communication? How specific should I be? I don't want to waste her time and I'm completely overthinking this, so I could use some advice.
