Listening helps me deal with my own stuff better. I went to college for counselling and was able to learn how to hone my natural instincts for listening there. I have been through a life full of challenges that I recognize have been traumatic for me and I am currently taking the time to learn how to take care of myself by working with my doctors and therapists to continue to overcome my difficulties. Being a Listener with 7Cups gives me a way to feel like I am doing the work I can't do in person right now due to my circumstances, and it really helps me remember what I'm good at and what my purpose is. I have personally dealt with various forms of grief and loss and you will find that I can relate extremely well to loss of a parent, rape, bullying, shaming, self-image, anxiety, depression, and sexual identity, to name a few. I am kink lifestyle-understanding-and-friendly as well. There isn't anything you can tell me that will scare me away and I do not judge.
