She helped me through a lot.
I was in such need of conversation and help. I'm not even sure if this Listener was a girl or guy (although I assume it's a girl based on the picture).. This Listener was just amazing. Supportive, positive, selfless, non-judgemental, kind. People like that really make a difference. And they have no idea how much such conversation means, even when they don't really say that much. When they are just there. When no one else is. When I couldn't stop crying and shaking, this Listener was there to say that it's ok to cry and that she knows how difficult my situation is. She didn't try to make it any less important. She didn't try to give me advices that I didn't need. All I needed was for someone to be there and tell me that I am strong because in that moment I forgot about it. I couldn't think, I couldn't even breathe but she was there as my guide, she was so calm that she was able to calm me down just by few words she said. I was bombarding her with tons of words, sentences, that didn't even make sense probably. But she could read through that and gave me what I needed the most - helpful hand and the thought that I can do this. I will never forget that.

I'm going thru a difficult period in my life but sometimes that's not unusual for me. I have a hard timing dealing with life. Even now, it still scares me. This young person helped me pull out of myself somewhat and see that sometimes while worry is very real and problems can be real, there are solutions.
