How do you learn to trust people?

...See more Does anyone ever feel like you can't trust people around you? There's only one person I trust (my boyfriend), but it'd be better if I had a larger support network. I do have some friends, but I've never had the kind of friendship in which we talk about how we feel. Sometimes I think I can deal with things by myself, but when things get really bad I find myself unable to cope and with no one to turn to for help. But I feel like I can't be more open with people. Have you ever felt this way? How did you learn to be more open with people around you?

...See more Hi everyone! I'm new to the community and I'm looking for someone to talk to about everyday problems. I'm struggling with anxiety and work-related stress, relationship issues, self-harm when things are really bad, and I'd like to find someone sympathetic I can talk to regularly.
