...See more Have you ever wondered why April Fools Day is even celebrated? 🤔 . It is said that it started around 1582 in a small town called Saint-Lumière in France 🇫🇷 when people followed different calendar systems, and some continued celebrating the New Year around the end of March into April 1, even after others had shifted to a new date. . Those who stuck to the old timing were quietly tricked with small jokes or misleading messages, just to see if they would believe them. Slowly, this turned into a habit people repeated every year 😄 . At first it was just among close groups, small harmless tricks to see who would fall for it. But over time, people began to get more creative, adding stories, details, and just enough truth to make it believable. . There are even records from around 1603 in parts of northern Italy 🇮🇹 where people would send handwritten notes with confusing instructions, just to see how many would follow them without questioning 📝 . Some messages would travel from one person to another, each person trusting it a little more because someone else believed it before them. . Over time, the idea remained the same, just the methods changed. Instead of letters, it became conversations, posts, and messages 📱 . And sometimes the stories sound just real enough to follow without questioning. . Like this one you just read till the end 😄 I think I got you there 😅 April Fools 😄
