Adhd and emotional issues

...See more I've got a recent adhd diagnosis, well it will be almost an year in February. I really thought it would make me understand all the problems I've been through, but it didn't really. I was given ritaline to try, it didn't work out for me. Then the psychiatrist gave me antidepressants cause he apparently believes it is because I'm in a deep burnout that stimulants aren't working. The antidepressants sent me to the emergency room, I had serotonin syndrome with only 20mg of fluoxétine. After that I've been in a vicious circle of meds to help get off other meds. I just feel like my whole life changed and I've only gotten worse since I found out what I have. Has anyone been going through the same thing? I'm completely lost about what I should do. I can't control my emotions, nor my thoughts. I have so many somatic symptoms, and I just feel like I'm not emotionally capable of anything anymore.
