Hello! My name is Courtney, and I am glad you have discovered me on 7 cups of tea! I am a trained active listener and would love to listen and help you find solutions to whatever problem you may be facing. Here is a little about me, my favorite activities include: reading all types of books, going for runs, swimming, fishing, and visiting amusement parks. I have dealt with and recovered from: depression, anxiety, and self harming, giving me quite a lot of experience in those areas. I am also currently in a long distance relationship and know first hand the trials and tribulations of dealing with a partner. ...See more About a year ago I was really struggling with depression and anxiety. As a result of this I resorted to self harm and was constantly in those related tags on tumblr. One day, I noticed tumblr advertising 7 cups of tea as confidential place to have someone listen to you and I tried it out! I absolutely LOVED it and even became a listener at that time! However, unfortunately I wasn't able to continue at that time due to my own struggle. But, now I am back at it and couldn't be happier not that I have recovered and am helping others do the same! Thank you so much 7 cups :)

Courtney is an amazing friend and a listener. She can always make me feel even somehow better. She's good at supporting and always wants the best for the members here. For example: I have quite much time difference with her. She woke up at 6 am her time only to come here and support me when I had a good time for trying to call a helpline. I was panicking like crazy but luckily she was with me. Without her I wouldn't have been able to call at all, I know that for sure. She means the world to me. She's the best listener and friend I've ever had. She's the sunshine of 7 cups. :)
She is very understanding and has helped me and my man get back to where we want to be as a couple slowly but surely it's working and having her every step of the way helps the frustration of going to different people to to tell the story all over again so much easier I hope that she will continue to stay with us every inch of the way and we do not push her away with how much we go through it might help if his grandmother and mom started talking to her but I'm afraid they would not be nice or understand or try to work on things like we are thank you so much
