I don't know how to feel

...See more Back when I was young, I was the kid no one wanted to get close to. I remember people would scowl if i got to close, or if I accidentally touched them. I learned right then that I was never worth any form of intimacy or warmth, and that i should distance myself, in order to not hope to build close relationship, only to be disappointed; or so I thought. Fastforward a few years, and I'm finally able to make friends through sports. Im still hated by some, but I'm able to get close to people. I met a "friend" through friends, and we became "close," because of shared classes, and we entertained each other. The only thing is, he understood personal space; it's just he'd abuse the hell out of it constantly. He would do things like moan in people's ears, rub people's legs, refuse to give people personal space, he would do everything that woupd make yoy feel uncomfortable foe his own amusement. If it were to happen now I would be able to stand up for myself, tell him no, and tell others about him, but the friendships that i had made were still very new, my parents were emotional supportive, and I didn't have anywhere to go to feel safe.
