...See more So for as long as I can remember I have been living in a mental nightmare , I am certainly aware of mental illness as my ex wife has bipolar , anxiety disorder etc... my 11 year old son also has anxiety disorder, suspect bipolar( he is to young to diagnose for sure ) adhd, odd . So to say the least I dont know why it has taken me many years to realize I have been living this way ... on a daily basis I think about death , and why Im even here .the sad thoughts kick in and last for weeks and weeks . I have been a master at hiding how I feel , and this is the 1st time I have really opened up about it . I have 0 self worth , I rarly go out with friends, my mental state is a mess . I only function for my children . I take no pleasure in anything. A few weeks ago I was driving and I just started sobbing when I look back on my life .. it was the 1st time I actually really thought about suicide ( really thought ) .. if I didnt have children that would have been the day . It really scared me , so I went to the dr and told him a half truth on how I was feeling .. he prescribed me trintellix , and I finally started taking it on Monday . I know its soon but Im hoping within a couple months the clouds will lift a bit . I would really like some advice , i just cant live like this anymore . Thank you
