...See more New member here...I guess I'm looking for the same thing everyone else is...I was back in hospital last week with another lung infection. The same thing happened two years ago and collapsed my left lung. Luckily we caught it early this time. As soon as I started to feel better in hospital, BAM...my depression came back with a vengeance! It's been at bay for a few years, but boy did it come back. Worked with my doc the day after release, and we're trying a med switch...so now I get to play the waiting game to see if there's any improvement 🙁 Today is not a good day. A lot of dark thoughts, even as my kids and picked up our new puppy. I'm not sure getting a puppy now was the best idea, but he was decided on pre-hospital. Time is passing soooo slowly. I wake at 3 or 4am and the then spend the rest of the day staring at the clock. Two weeks ago, time was flying! Now...a crawl....a terrifying, depressing, unbearable crawl... As with my last bought of depression, all I want to do is rest, but I can't because I can't shut my brain off. I know deep down I don't want to shut it off permanently, but it's definitely a more prevalent thought this time around.
