...See more This happened 8 months ago, it took me 4 months to finally tell one of my friends. I just turned 16 when we started dating, he was perfect. We were both attending this very prestigious summer program, and since i didn't have any of my friends with me and he wanted to spend 99% of the time with me, he was the only person i had. I was very clear about my boundaries early on, i didn't want to do anything slightly sexual, because i didn't feel comfortable. So i never let him sleep in my bed, until one day, i was having a mental breakdown and i was so stressed and felt so drained after it that i feel asleep and told him he can stay since it was already so late, i felt like i could trust him. I was so wrong, he sexually assaulted me while i was sleeping, in my own room, i was horrified and he manipulated me into believing it was a mistake, he was crying when i woke up to it happening. I didn't know what to do and my brain repressed everything, what happened didn't hit me until 4 months later. i broke up with him 4 months later cause he was treating me very very badly. i just turned 17, it's been 8 months, i feel like i didn't make any progress, i want to go to a therapist but i cant because covid, i'm just so exhausted and tired of every little thing reminding me of what happened. help?
