One day something inside me went out, as if my soul had lost its last dim light. It wasn't loud or sudden, it came silently, like a slow sunset that no one noticed. I felt then that the world around me was continuing, laughing and rejoicing, while I watched everything from behind a foggy glass, as a stranger to itself. Maybe that day was the beginning of the end, or just another stop on a long road of small losses that accumulate until they become an abyss. But despite everything, I didn't die completely, I stayed there, looking at the ashes and thinking... Can the light return?
