What are your symptoms of Hypomania/Mania?

...See more Newly diagnosed with Bipolar II, here, and have been having some shame/embarrassment surrounding the symptoms I experience while in a hypomanic state. My therapist suggest I reach out to people with similar experiences for support. So my questions are: What are the main symptoms you experience while in a hypomanic/manic state, or the telltale characteristics of an episode. And do you have any shame or embarrassment associated with some or all of your symptoms? The symptoms that bring me the most shame are: increased goal-oriented activity, inflated self esteem, oversharing, and increased socialization with strangers/acquaintances.
