Recovery Sharing Circle is a session where members can join a queue to get 5-7 minutes to share their journey of recovery. While that member is sharing, the rest of the room can send short supportive comments, but not ask questions or interrupt. 💚 Who can join this session? Anyone who wishes to support other members or share their story in a safe space and support fellow addiction support community members while they share their stories. This is the second event of Recovery Awareness Month. In this forum post we will discuss the first step towards recovery. We would love to hear your story about the first step towards recovery. My experience with Tanu was wonderful. It was very nice of her, when she saw me upset in a community room and ask me if she can PM me. One of the sweetest listeners around here, they are very sweet and understanding and very mature and intellectual. I felt as if I had talked to a real life angel, they have listened to me, spent time talking to me, didn't judge me once and they were very empathetic to my issues. This person went far and beyond to try to make me feel welcomed and loved and cared for, I truly will never forget this person, they were a godsend in my life, someone I needed in my life. They are truly a blessed rare gift in this world and have the purest heart and soul. I truly admire this person and how truly strong they are as a listener and human being ❤️
