Is he the right one to marry?

...See more Hi everyone, During my 25 years of life, this is my first time dating. We have been dating for 1 year and he said he want to propose me. Now I'm in the hesitation state whether he is the right one or should I just stop this relationship. Please guide me with any advice. What make me hesitate: - He never do his plan consistently. For example, I advice him to be healthy by cooking and exercise because he is now overweight. He only try to cook and exercise for several days then stop because he said he is busy with office work. - My parents said he is not caring my family because he never give or bring something to my parents despite he always come to my house every weekend. My parents always buy him food but he never take turn pay for us. It seems like he's not a caring person and indicate he doesn't have sense of responsibility as the head of family later. - He wants me to share expenses if we are married. He also want me to collaborate paying for mortgage. I am afraid he will be the type of husband that don't want to work and leave his responsibility behind. (Please not I'm Asian so this is crucial part) Is this a sign that he is not a good match for me? Or this is just my insecurities? Thank you for your time to read and give advice.
