...See more I dated a serious cocaine addict for three months and I swore he was clean for our relationship until I started putting little pieces together..he was becoming violent with me and his family members, shaking in his sleep from withdrawal, becoming angry if he didnt have his fix, etc. He had been in rehab twice in his life before I dated him but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. One night he became real violent with me at a concert and we were very far from home. He threatened to kill me and pushed me to the floor, screaming in my face as blood came pouring out of his nose. I knew I had to end things. His family sent him to rehab later that week and I broke up with him right before he left. He was VERY angry & wasnt going to accept it. He told a mutual friend to let me know that I made a very big mistake breaking up with him and that he was going to get revenge and kill my dog to get back at me. Long story short, after having a night out to dinner with my mother would become the worst night of my entire life. I came home to my little dog sliced open from her neck down to her private with her organs laid all over the floor and blood smeared everywhere. I have nightmares, blame myself daily, have severe anxiety issues, hate leaving my house, and will never unsee what I saw. Worst of all, he was never caught for what he did and Ill never be at peace with it.
