...See more A Drowning Soul. A drowning soul reaches for help but is unable to find any. They think nothing they do is really worth it. They want to give up on life. But they go on in this cruel and very unusual world. Some days their courage puddles on the ground in front of them. Sometimes a good cry heals them for a day or two, but then the pain returns. Their anger drives them to the point they want to hurt themselves. They run away to save their own souls, but maybe their souls are already gone. Maybe they're holding on to nothing. Talking to people is hard for them because they can't put their feelings into words. Trying to find away to cope is hard. Everyday they walk around pain in their eyes, and a hole in their heart. They try and try. Everyday is a battle. A battle that is fought for unknown reason's. Should they give up or keep trying. Is it too late to save them? Sometimes they think that. They are slowly dying in their minds. Nothing seems to go their way. It feels like nothing they say or do is enough. They just want to be happy once again. It's hard for them to keep going. They have lost their motivation. They try to keep other people happy but they forgot about their own happiness. What is happiness? They haven't felt "happiness" in a long time. When they are happy something bad happens to bring back all the pain. Sometimes they want to scream and yell but what would that do? Nothing. They have to find themselves again. They are lost and very very confused. They look at life and wonder what's the true meaning of life? What's their purpose in life? Are they on the right path to their true happiness? For them their are so many unanswered questions. When they are sad they distance themselves from people. Just so they don't hurt others. They write what they feel because it helps keep their demons at bay. They search for loyal friends because they dont have any friends at all. The eyes are the windows to the soul but when you look into their eyes all you see is pain. This isn't how they want their life to be like. They have walked alone for so they wonder if life will always be this lonely. It seems like it. At night they look up at the stars and think; is someone out there for them? If so will they meet soon? The loneliness feeling won't go away. Why won't it just go away and leave them alone? I'm lost. - J -
