...See more Hi, I’m 17 and I’m dealing with type 2 diabetes, psychogenic blackouts, hypoglycaemia, and mental health struggles. I’ve never had a healthy relationship with food—growing up, I’d eat until I felt sick or threw up. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a couple of years ago, and while I’m not obese, I’ve been losing a lot of weight due to diet changes and being on Mounjaro, which was the only medication that worked for me. Mounjaro really reduces my appetite—some days I can’t eat at all, or I throw up when I try. I’ve told my doctor, but they said it’s not an ED and that I just need to try harder to eat. I’m here because I don’t know how to cope with this or balance everything with my mental health. I’m just looking for support and guidance from people who might understand.
